What is SeaTac Occupational Skill Center?
SeaTac Occupational Skills Center (OSC) is located just west of SeaTac Airport and is cooperatively owned by the Federal Way, Highline, Tahoma and Tukwila school districts. SeaTac OSC is the school of choice for technical education and career preparation. Annually, over 1300 students from 4 school districts and 15 high schools choose to attend OSC to gain training and experience in 24 career programs not offered by their traditional high schools. As students earn high school credit at OSC, they may also earn college credit through Tech-Prep, and may qualify for advanced placement in post-secondary programs.

Students choose to attend OSC. They choose programs that interest them. These choices give the students ownership of their education and their future. They also may take advantage of the business and industry partnerships to create a unique high school educational experience. Students earn 1.5 credits per semester during the 150-minute daily classes. Many courses offer equivalency credits in English, math, science, fine arts, and/or health.

All SeaTac OSC instructors are professionals with industry experience who use state-of-the-art technology and equipment to provide training needed to enter emerging world market careers and occupations. The students' education and lives are greatly enhanced through interaction with industry, the community, and government.
